    Hi,
I started collect coins around one year ago and among circulated 50ps I miss only Footbal. This is the only coin I need to fill up 50p collection but it seems to be really hard to get this one. Does anyone have it for swap and is willing to help with dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s?

    Hi Change Checker Team.
I wish to vote Ian Lambert, founder of The Great British Coin Hunt, as Change checker of the year 2019.
This is because of his tireless efforts to help not only his followers but charities too. He has created a “family” of coin collectors, given us knowledge, advice, hope and friendship. Under Ian’s umbrella we have been able to contribute to charities. Ian Has struggled thru his own battles to continue to support this fast growing hobby.
Thank you for reading my nomination letter

I would like to nominate myself as in the past year I have sparked the interest of 5 people into the world of coins. I have also helped many people with their collections by swapping over 20 coins, using the app, and helping the newly interested collectors with the beginning of their collections. In the past year my collection has progressed massively with the completion of the round pound collection, the definitive 50 p collection, finding two kew gardens in 11 days and needing only 3 more olympic 50ps. I have collected every circulated 2 pound coin including doubles of every commonwealth games. To spark the interest of others I am using coin collecting for my Duke of Edinburgh bronze and I hope I can inspire more otherst by this in the very near future.
I would love it if you could enter me into this competition as I am only 13 and it would mean a great deal to me.
Thanks for this opportunity, Harry Hawthorne.

Hi Harry, thanks for your nomination. It sounds like you’ve built up a very impressive collection – well done for finding those Kew Gardens!! Best of luck in the Change Checker Awards.

Hi! I would like to nominate myself for this year since i have decided to bring coin collecting into the public! With your help, I have managed to ALREADY get some reserved spaces for the coin collecting club at my school! I also delivered a special presentation for the 50th anniversary of the 50p and saw some people in my class who sparked up an intrest. The club will start soon and I am very thankful of you helping out. Yet again, I would like to nominate myself! Thank you!

Thanks for your nomination Lethikka! It’s really great to hear how you’ve been encouraging others to get into coin collecting and your passion for the hobby is just fantastic 🙂
