This coin was issued in 2020 as part of a 3-year, 9-coin series celebrating the world’s best-loved bear, Winnie the Pooh. This 50p shows Christopher Robin carrying his dearest friend Pooh down the stairs. The design of the Winnie the Pooh 50ps, by The Walt Disney Company, were taken from the illustrations by E. H. Shepard in the original tales by A. A. Milne. The reverse design of this 50p features the fifth portrait of HM QEII by Jody Clark.
