This coin was released to mark 25 years since the UK’s first bi-metallic coin entered circulation. The design by Bruce Rushin is a re-issue of the first UK definitive £2, the Technology £2, with a slight difference. Instead of the eight intertwined scrolls, the lenticular feature in the centre of the coin shows the number ‘25’ when tilted. Jody Clark’s portrait of Queen Elizabeth II features on the obverse.
