Are you adventurous, confident, and brave? Then you could be born in the Lunar Year of the Tiger! This is the first coin from The Royal Mint to feature a 2022 date, celebrating the upcoming Lunar Year of the Year. It joins their incredibly popular Shēngxiào Collection which commemorates the Chinese Zodiac. David Lawrence’s reverse design shows the ‘King of the Beasts’ in Chinese culture, in a stance that emulates all of the animal’s desirable characteristics. To the right, the Chinese Zodiac symbol for the Tiger has been engraved. Her Majesty’s fifth portrait, by Jody Clark, features on the obverse.
