This coin was issued to commemorate the Coronation of King Charles III on 6th May 2023. It features a unique crowned portrait of King Charles III, which had never been seen before, and has been officially approved by The King. The reverse design, by Timothy Noad, shows a depiction St. Edward’s Crown and the sceptre with cross and sceptre with dove.
