The RNLI 50p was the first coin from the 2024 Annual Coin Set to be individually released. It celebrates the 200th Anniversary of the RNLI, an organization that has saved over 144,000 lives during in the last 2 centuries. The reverse design features key symbols of the RNLI, including the flag, a life ring and rope, along with the inscription ‘200 YEARS’ and the years ‘1824-2024’. The Royal Mint donated a percentage of the profits from these coins to the RNLI, allowing them to continue their great work.
