Following on from the hugely popular Star Wars™ Character Duos 50p series, the Star Wars™ Spacecraft series was issued in 2024. The series featured some of the most iconic spacecraft from the Star Wars™ franchise, the second of which was the TIE Fighter, released on May 4th, commonly known as Star Wars Day! The reverse design of the TIE Fighter 50p features the Empire’s signature fighting ship soaring through space along with the Star Wars™ logo. The lenticular feature shows both the TIE Fighter and the emblem of the Galactic Empire when tilted.
