Now that the 2016 mintage figures are out and most are not as rare as anticipated, when will you be updating the scarcity index? – particularly the £2 one.

    • Luke Hearn on May 17, 2017 at 11:04 am

Hi Jim, that’s a good point and the answer is yes, we will be releasing quarterly updates for 50p and £2 coins. This will also allows us time to have a look at the swap request date to get the most accurate picture. I hope this helps, Luke

Thanks for this. Any news on the 2017 commemorative coins release dates? All I can find is “Spring”, and the Royal Mint has no BU versions for sale (yet?), bar the full year 2017 set.

    • Luke Hearn on May 16, 2017 at 8:17 am

Hi James, the circulation coins are due to be released later this year, as soon as we have specific dates we will let everybody know, thanks Luke

Any news on the 2017 new coins release dates? I see only “Spring” listed, and it’s May already. Nothing for any 2017 commemorative coins, except the complete yearly packs.
