Continue to be frustrated by lack of coins that are supposed to be in circulation. No sign of any of new 10p, still no sign of an Isaac Newton 50p. Live in the south east.
How do you know when coins are released into circulation. Does Royal Mint publish the details of circulated release?

Hi Stuart, it’s a combination of a few things. We are given information by the Royal Mint and also the banks and cash centres. We also receive feedback from Change Checkers who have found the coins in their change. Thanks Luke

People struggle finding the alphabet 10p coins as most of them are on ebay already – “from sealed bags”. Some “businessmen” are getting these bags from post offices and make a good profits and maybe banks while genuine collectors eat dust. This is were most of Jemima Puddle Ducks are as well.
