It’s been a very slow few month for me too. But I’m just patiently waiting. I could never stop collecting. Sometimes I think I’ll lose hope of ever finding a Kew Gardens. But I never give up. I certainly wouldn’t buy on ebay. I have about 8 of the 2017 Beatrix Potter Peter Rabbits. But I have not seen the rest of them yet although I purchased them uncirculated. But I would love to see them in my change in the near future.

Hi Luke I got burgled a couple of months ago and lost all my coins I didn’t had jemima puddle duck or Kew Gardens but I did have an error of Squirrel Nutkin off set to the left the squir was right on up to the edge of the coin without a edge line I was proud of it. I also had most of the Olympic coins. Not to mention all the £2 coins anyway my point is that I don’t bye coins family friends and having a sister working in Costa helps. Ho ya my point I was going to give up collecting when on the same day I was given Kew Gardens an jemima puddle duck on the same day how couldn’t I start again I’m looking for 14 Olympic coins 3 potters an of course RAF £2s I’ve got lots of spares but don’t know any fellow collectors I live in Gloucester any ideas Plus got a question for you do you think that the mint is cashing in by introducing the 10ps an the raf witch I love but think thay could of done better with the choice of aircraft being into aircraft thanks keep up the good work pat

Hi guys, good blog, but in the future would it be possible to maybe do a piece on the best way to clean coins without damaging them.

Yasmin and Luke said at the end “its been a really busy month” well i disagree not in my change it hasnt been. I have not found one coin apart from the usual ones at all in April. This is very disapointing. I would expect to find the odd different one but nothing !! My local shops are fed up with me asking….perhaps its time to stop looking.

Hi Jackie, as we said, patience really is key at the moment. Demand from cash centres is low hence why it’s taking time for coins to be released into circulation. Thanks Luke
