How can l buy the complete set of cards as these tell me lots of information, how far back are you going
    Will you do £2 & £5 coins.
I would like to see the €1 coin come in different designs for each year .

    • Alexandra Siddons on July 10, 2020 at 1:41 pm

      Hi Graham,

Unfortunately the Trading Cards are not available to purchase at this time, but we run a lot of giveaways on our various different social channels.

At the moment, we only have 50p Trading Cards available, but we will certainly consider doing £2 and £5 ones too 🙂

      Thanks,
      Alex

Can we use a round pound instead of a 2 pound. I don’t have a 2 pound coin available for the challenge.

    • Alexandra Siddons on June 29, 2020 at 9:02 am

      Hi there,

Given the circumstances, it is okay to use a round pound.

      Thanks,
      Alex

  4. Marjory Reynolds on June 19, 2020 at 11:33 am

Not fair for us that don’t do facebook.

    • Alexandra Siddons on June 19, 2020 at 3:40 pm

      Hi Marjory,

If you’d like to take part in the challenge, please do feel free to email in your video entry to [email protected]
We will of course still accept all entries via email. It was just Facebook based so that people could see each others attempts.

      Looking forward to seeing yours!

      Thanks,
      Alex

    I’m excited

So are we Murat! Will you be commenting your entry to the 50p Coin Flip?

What is the point of these change checker cards?

    • Alexandra Siddons on June 19, 2020 at 3:43 pm

      Hi Alan,

The Change Checker Trading Cards are collectable cards featuring United Kingdom commemorative coin designs, specifications and a key fact. They have been launched to provide a fun, new collecting challenge for Change Checkers and to raise awareness and excitement around UK commemorative coins.

They’ve already proved incredibly popular amongst collectors. We’ve seen a huge rise in collectors swapping within the Facebook Community Group and even selling them on the secondary market!

      Thanks,
      Alex

I would love some change checker trading cards but I get the coins i need from swapping or in my change. I would never buy a coin from the Internet unless I was desprate and some people want £2+ per card which I think is crazy. I think there should be some sort of way that you can buy the cards from your website.

      • Alexandra Siddons on June 22, 2020 at 8:29 am

        Hi Sarah-Marie,

We’d love to be able to sell our Trading Cards too, but unfortunately we aren’t able to at the moment. We are, however, running lots of competitions and giveaways on our Facebook page and our Facebook Change Checker Community group. Keep an eye on there on how you could be in with the chance of owning some!

        Thanks 🙂
        Alex

Hello there. I am from India. So I don’t have any 50p. Can I use any other coins?. I do have some British coins. Including 2p (old). 1p(old) one round pound and 10 & 5 new pence coins. Please reply.

      • Alexandra Siddons on June 22, 2020 at 8:30 am

        Hi there,

As long as the coin is a similar size to a 50p, this shouldn’t be a problem. Perhaps try with a 2p coin! Good luck 🙂

        Thanks,
        Alex

      • Josh Holloway on June 20, 2020 at 5:16 pm

Hello there I am from another country. (India). Can I use any other coins instead. Coz I don’t have a 50p.

      • Alexandra Siddons on June 22, 2020 at 8:37 am

        Hi there,

If you have a coin that has similar specifications to a 50p (e.g. it’s diameter is similar to 27.3mm) this should be fine.

        Thanks,
        Alex

  7. TJ on June 19, 2020 at 9:25 am

      Thanks,
      Alex

      • TJ on June 21, 2020 at 5:38 am

One more question,.I am from India. So I don’t have a 50p. The only British coins I have are 2p,1p,1round pound and 5&10 new pence coins. Any chance I have to enter this competition ?. Please tell me , as I am damn excited…

      • Alexandra Siddons on June 22, 2020 at 8:37 am

        Hi TJ,

Not to worry, you can use a 2p coin in its place!

        Thanks,
        Ale
